Sooo I got my two Break of Reality cds and t-shirt! I'm ... infatuated with...uhmm.. happy thoughts!
This means that I have another shirt for color wars. It's nothing compared to the school record of 30 something...but 10ish things is enough if you have to wear black. Next year I'm definitely on white... because I have a lot of shirts.

So yeah. Next year in color wars I'm on the white team. I swear... I have about 30ish white shirts. The record from last year is 40. Hopefully no one tries to break that. I mean... you have to wear all of those shirts/pants/shorts the whole period. I'll probably get 3-5 more white shirts over the year. Muwahah. Now that I think of it... I think I've been on the gold, blue, and black team. I'm not really sure about the blue.... I'll have to try to remember. If I have been on every team color except white then.. woot to that. If not then oh well.

So tomorrow night is the concert. I can't go to the SAT class. I've been trying to send Monica a message but it never goes through!! Damn. I have to ask her what we do for a make up class. Does it cost extra? ugh. Damn myspace and its inability to have customer service.

I was going crazy in SS today. So I didn't finish the homework and I didn't have the vocab from the previous day. I had it yesterday, but he got sick...so last night I didn't notice that I took the vocab out of my backpack.

I went to a Coffee House rehearsal. Now I sorta know how fast it is. I have to find a recording so I can follow the music while listening. I mean it's..what...7 or 8 pages long... so yeah. But Sarah and Derek were great. I just have to make sure I can learn it all

That movie "Stay Alive" looks soo stupid. I don't want to say stupid because that word seems kinda harsh. I guess it's more like...cheesy. But I wanna see it. I have this feeling that I hav to give all of those movies a chance...what if there's one that's actually good and I miss it? long r/o.

I've done some thinking. For some reason I label things... don't ask me why.

From my experience... Xanga is a place where you can just release. NuTang is a place where you can socialize. LiveJournal appears to be that classy sophisticated type.

I really don't know what this means...

Anyway I've felt energized ever since quartet ended. I'm getting used to using my fourth finger now for viola. Ok now I'm starting to get tired again...ugh. I still need to finish the SS vocab.

I feel the need to run...
I'll do that tomorrow morning...really.

Well, this is bullshit. Yes, school is bullshit. Actually, what I'm going through is bullshit. I don't think I'll be able to juggle everything.

-First, I'm trying to study for the AP Test.
-Next I have to practice the piano and memorize this piece.
-I have to get this part for the viola down and read by next week
- I have to send in the money tomorrow for the SAT 2s (wow..talk about last minute...)
-I also have to write this whole rough draft of the research paper. I don't know how to start it.

Everything is bullshit now. I miss it when vacations actually meant that you get to rest from work. Where have the good days gone? Why have they left? This is just stupid. I miss those days when I could play as much video games I could for the whole week. I don't know. It's just unfair. Oh yeah . . . there's also one more thing that adds to this.
-I have to learn how to dance for Lola Emma's party. So we're learning cha cha and whatnot. Yeah. Everyone expects me to practice at home when I'm just practicing everything else? What the fuck. Well yesterday I saw Shrek 2 and Hellboy at Ate MarVi's. We went to . . . I forgot. One of the richer places on Long Island. lol. Then we passed by O.B. Davis . . . a funeral place. Ate Marvi's dad's friend's dad passed away. He was in a coma. It was caused by a hit-and-run driver. It made me realize (once again) that things can happen unexpected. I guess we just take things for granted and always have to be reminded about things.

Well... I hope he rests in peace.

I'm going to start studying for the AP test...in about 15 minutes or so. I decided not to go to the library and study outside instead.

Ok well how do I enable comments? I feel really stupid with livejournal. It confuses me a lot. I have no idea why. Anyway just IM and help me!

NYSSMA and Blah

I went to NYSSMA. I think I did well. For sightreading the judge gave me a violin part. I didn't notice. He wondered what I was playing and noticed it was the violin part. Wow, I was pretty stupid. While I was sightreading (the right part) I sped the eighth notes for some reason. I don't know. For some reason I forgot the beat and as soon as I got back to some quarter notes... I was back to normal. Strange. Well for some reason I didn't have to shift. I thought at Level four you start shifting in your sightreading. I guess not.

When I asked if he wanted repeats in the song.... he said yeah. So I repeated. I was NOT used to repeats. I messed up soo much looking for where the repeats were while I was playing. I was panicking.

Well in an hour I have to go to the Moose Lodge. For an hour or two I'm going to go help out set up for a party. When I go home I will start these note cards. Fun stuff.

I still didn't get a response from the LI Choral Society, the summer program in california, and stuff. I need to register for this "who's who" thingy and the SAT2's for World History. I also have to read A LOT for the AP Exam. I think I'm gonna fail. If I manage to get a 66 or just pass by some small amount of points... I will be the happiest person in the world. Seriously. My teacher's the worst. She DOESN'T TEACH. Blah.

What the fuck . Ok, so for gym we're doing square dancing. I actually look forward to square dancing. I guess it's because I like line dancing and whatnot. Well, while people who hate it do it, I was forced to sit out. Well we didn't have enough people so yeah. Well Andromahi and I were partners...and they broke us apart since we couldn't form our own square. Then the fucking bitch Mrs. Rose told her and some guy to complete some other square. What the hell? She told me to go to that square and then she pulls some other person there? Ok.... he wasn't even looking forward to square dancing. I hate that fucking gym teacher more than that time on Halloween.

It was very interesting. Ok well I don't think I did well. I messed up a few times, but I continued. I had to. I had no choice. Onward!

Well it turns out that apparently I was the youngest person to compete. Also, people come and go, so after someone was done with their audition, they would leave. Maybe I wasn't the youngest to compete? Maybe the youngest person finished earlier or a little after me. However a lot of the people competing were freshmen in college or seniors in high school. I might not have made it. Oh well.

Well the competition is open to all who play an instrument or sing. There were three judges. There is the first place and a second place winner. The thing is that the first place could be a singer and second place a violinst. See where I am going? This really is some competition because all different instruments and singers are competing for two places. Sooo the judges are really professionals because they are the same judges for the whole extravaganza.

As mentioned in an entry before, the winner will be announced by mail. It will arrive in two to three weeks. They'll also mail the comments. The judges right comments to help you improve on your pieces. This is great because Guild is around the corner!

Well ... yeah. Uhh. There were a few Filipinos there. They even actually talked about composers! My parents were impressed. When we went to the Chinese Buffet, we were talking about them. They must be from Nassau because all the Filipinos from Suffolk don't know which composer created which piece! <%s=5%>

Today is the competition! woot. I don't think I'm too prepared, but there's no turning back now. I'm just doing this for the experience . . . and maybe to win some money haha. I don't know... blah. Check out NuTang to see how it went... I'll most likely post it when I come back around 5ish. I have to be there by 4:30 sooo yeah...
